Perris City Councilman
"I have been privileged to witness their vision to not only better the lives of our people but to best reintegrate our Veterans to be part of Perris' growing community."
Albert R. Renteria, Chairman and CEO
Mark Yarbrough is a proven leader with a track record for making tough decisions.
When Mark was first elected to the Perris City Council in 1996, the city was on the verge of bankruptcy and possible disincorporation. Mark tackled the difficult challenges and proved himself to be someone taxpayers could count on to move Perris forward.
As a long time Perris resident and local business owner, Mark understands the difficulties facing Perris residents. In 2014, Perris High School honored him as Alumni of the Year for his many accomplishments, which include getting the city's finances back on track, bringing new businesses and jobs to the community, improving local parks and recreation facilities, and preserving Perris' Historic D Street. Mark has been married to his wife for over 32 years. They have 4 children and 5 grandchildren and have owned Swedish Speed together since 1995.
